JIFF was externally evaluated during its first year of operation 2003-2004 by the University of Memphis Department of Criminology & Criminal Justice.
Currently JIFF is being evaluated as one of three primary partners in an intervention collaborative known as Target 1000. (Target 1000 is a faith-based collaboration of organizations and churches coordinated by the Urban Youth Initiative (UYI) to address and reduce juvenile crime and violence in the Mid South.)
Recidivism data is collected on all JIFF participants for a two-year period.
