Intensive Case Mentoring (JIFF Proper): A four (4) month intervention program designed to give court-referred youth, ages 12-18 and their families, the skills, support, and direction necessary to break the destructive cycle of juvenile crime. 65% of the youth who participate in this program do not return to the courts.
Evening Reporting Center (ERC): Designed to provide a community based alternative to detention. This short term (five days each week for 20 days) intensive supervision program provides highly targeted programs and positive activities in a structured environment for youth 12 – 17 years of age. The program is designed to influence the youths’ lives in a positive way while helping them to remain in the community.
Early Intervention Program (EIP): JIFF is in partnership with Juvenile Court of Memphis and Shelby County. The EIP is designed to provide 12-17 year old males and females alternative sentencing options. Our goal is to provide restorative justice options that consist of community service, restitution agreements, mediation, and character development classes. 95% of the youth who participate in this program do not return to the courts.
Live Life Together (LLT) Mentoring Program: A community-based mentoring program for youth that have been served in one of JIFF’s other programs. Mentors are from the local community and provide their time, knowledge, experience, and love to help these young men and women that grow, develop, and aspire to a thriving future.
