Is it a gloomy, rainy Monday or is God spending time nourishing his creation?
Is it a busy week ahead or is God giving us new opportunities to expand our vision and His mission? Are we pushing to the weekend or has God blessed us with a job that we love, respect, and want to steward to the best of our ability? Our perspective has such a lasting impact on the way we see the world and how we react to what we see. We can easily get overwhelmed by our thoughts and perspective or we can shift our view to one that is covered in God's Truth. The truth is that "we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). We can also remember this truth: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:30-31). These two truths help us remember why we are here, supporting this mission, and loving these youth, and how God loves and supports us while doing so. He takes care of our needs, covers us in His goodness, and prepares a plan higher than our own understanding. I pray today that each of us are able to refocus to realign with God's truth of our purpose and His love for us each and every day in order to have a happy, successful and positive week ahead.
