Mentors in Training
We are so excited that you have decided to become a JIFF mentor. We believe in providing you with the training and ongoing match support. Once your application has been approved, you will receive a link to complete an online training from Mentoring Central. You will also be referred to Memphis Grizzlies Foundation for an in person training. Lastly, all mentors are required every year to watch the short video below so we are in compliance with grants. Please email volunteers@jiffyouth.org once you have watched this online training video. We must have this email confirmation in every mentor's file for when we are audited.

Active Mentors:
If you are already a JIFF volunteer mentor, we want to say THANK YOU for investing in changed lives! We ask that after you engage with your mentee, you logon to our mentoring portal and document the activity you engaged in together. You will receive a link from us and once you login, you can return to this portal at https://mentorportal.net/ and login any time to send us your activities. So when you text, call, or go out somewhere together it's best to start a habit of quickly logging into the portal and taking 2-3 minutes to document your contact. This again is tied to a federal grant and we must have accurate information to submit hours to them monthly.
